Puff, sizzle… blast!

Bsar’s Trip series

The alien protagonist Bsar roams through the outer space delineated in pencil lines, where boundaries between the mundane and the spectacle are blurred. On a flying saucer, in extraterrestrial canyons, and among star rivers, they engage in activities familiar to Earthlings, like listening to the radio, playing ping pong, and journaling. Within deviated outcomes, the mysteries of the universe resound.

So far the series includes a pamphlet zine, an accordion zine, and a cassette mixtape.

All drawn and made 2021-2024 by Karen Xu.
